The Delta Mu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., whose members comprise the Pearls of the Capital Region Foundation, Inc., has been providing scholarships to college bound young women in the Capital District of New York for over 20 years.  Previous scholarship winners have gone on to attend colleges/universities including:  Siena College, Harvard University, Howard University, Springfield College, University of North Carolina - Charlotte, Cornell University, and many others.
